Tony Pryor photographTony Pryor performed his one‑man show, It’s Always Something, at Ovations in July 2005 and a show with Glennie Scott, with whom he has studied voice, at Ovations in June 2006. He has previously served as music director of First Christian Church of Katy and The Cathedral of Hope in Houston.

In his experience as a choir director, he has noticed that most people experience transformative growth in their singing when they feel safe enough to become vulnerable and real. He has participated in workshops sponsored by the Omega Institute and led by Claude Stein, a holistic voice coach in New York. Since then he has committed himself to providing delighted support in helping people unleash the power of their voices through the Living Your Voice process, which he facilitates.

Tony has performed with the Third Coast Comedy improv troupe and employs improvisational techniques in his work with his students. He was a cast member of Third Coast Comedy’s show, Broadway on the Bayou, which played at Third Coast Comedy’s theater in northwest Houston and at the Sage Theatre on Times Square in New York. Tony has played piano, keyboards, and organ professionally since his teen years and has practiced law in the energy business for more than 30 years. He has also studied voice with Dr. Randolph Lacy and currently studies with Charles Dotson.
